If you need a ride to the big ride, we’re here for you. Meet 12 p.m., Saturday, 1/31, at Brackett Park. We’ll arrive at the @angrycatfish Alex Pretti memorial ride by 1 p.m., and the big ride kicks off at 1:30 p.m. There’ll be donated hand and foot warmers, pastries courtesy of Bike MN, and a big booming music speaker. With our friends from @joyfulridersclub, a few of our Twin Cities staff members will be doing a Ride-to-the-Ride from Brackett Park to Washburn Fair Oaks Park. Meet us at Brackett starting at about noon, we're planning to bring some pastries from a local immigrant owned bakery, as well as coffee. At 12:30 we'll ride together to the main ride event. Alex was one of us, could’ve been any of us, so as we mourn, all of us can come together in unity to remember Alex for what he was. A kind and caring soul put on this earth to be the light for others. Although his light has been extinguished by this violent regime, it hasn’t been lost. If anything, those sparks fell and ignited something in us that’s been hiding all along. We are stronger together, and they can’t take us all.
