On August 22, we’re teaming up with @lowertownbikeshop to bring you a DJ ride through downtown Saint Paul and along the Mississippi River! The ride will feature two amazing DJ ride veterans, @_djeve_ and @jensymmetry, who really know how to get us dancing. The route is about 6 miles long, entirely along the river on protected bikeways, and includes a brand-new dance spot.\n\nFEATURED DJs:\n\nHailing from Austin, TX, DJ Eve, aka Evilynda, has rocked Minneapolis for over 20 years as one of the first female EDM DJs in the Twin Cities. From the Lounge’s legendary dance nights to wild gigs at Sound Bar in Chicago, Coco Bongo in Cancun, and a rave with Deadmau5 on the Salt Flats, her sets are anything but boring. She’s also the brains behind Afterhours by Eve, a label dedicated to making musical magic and discovering fresh talent. When she’s not spinning beats, she’s leveling up in MMORPGs. Game on!\n\nJen Symmetry’s love for bass-driven music has fueled exciting performances at clubs, festivals, and underground parties across the US. Known for her high-energy, dark, driving, and sharp sets, Jen has landed prime time slots alongside international heavyweights like Sam Binga, Paradox, Pola & Bryson, Craze, and many more. Her original productions, ranging from jungle to breaks and dubstep, have made waves on labels including Rolled Up, Global DNB Collective, Drum Army Crew, and others, with several releases on the horizon in 2026. She’s performed at events including Jungle Bells Atlanta, Let It Roll Puerto Rico, Respect LA, Driven AM NYC, The Black Box Denver, Stamina SF, Infrasound Festival, Even Furthur, The Great Beyond, and Symmetry Fest. It's a cliche to say the vibes were immaculate, but they were, my friends.\n\nRiding these newly opened trails gave us so much more room to dance, and it's got us excited for what's next. This year is a triple celebration for Lowertown Bike Shop. It marks 15 years in business, 10 years at the Union Depot, and May Day! We couldn’t do it without all your support, and we would love if you could come celebrate with us for a DJ dance ride, and social hour after.\nWe will meet at 6pm at the Union Depot. We will roll out at 6:30pm for a slow roll ride(less than 5 miles per hour), with 2 dance stops, and free snacks and drinks after on the 1881 patio. This is a no drop ride and all are welcome. With our friends from @joyfulridersclub, a few of our Twin Cities staff members will be doing a Ride-to-the-Ride from Brackett Park to Washburn Fair Oaks Park. \n\nMeet us at Brackett starting at about noon, we're planning to bring some pastries from a local immigrant owned bakery, as well as coffee. \n\nAt 12:30 we'll ride together to the main ride event. \n\nAlex was one of us, could’ve been any of us, so as we mourn, all of us can come together in unity to remember Alex for what he was. A kind and caring soul put on this earth to be the light for others.\n\nAlthough his light has been extinguished by this violent regime, it hasn’t been lost. If anything, those sparks fell and ignited something in us that’s been hiding all along.
