Mark your calendar, 2026 Social Series rides are here! Our Social Series will be two Thursdays a month, May through September, with alternating spicy and dirt rides to fill in the gaps. Social Series rides will begin at @behindbarsbicycleshop (208 13th Ave NE, MPLS) and end in Northeast Minneapolis. Ride details will be posted weekly. See you soon!

Dustin joins us as our second new addition this year, bringing rad dad vibes and major hauling capacity. Pronouns - he/him Your favorite types of riding - Bikepacking and touring, urban and commuting, cargo hauling and grocery getting - pretty much anything where I’m using a bike to get myself and my stuff from where I am to where I need to be. Also gravel races are a ton of fun! Team-related goal for this year - Make friends and ride bikes with them. Also see how some big rides feel. 150 miles? Two Hundo? 242? Fun fact - In 2022 I started taking a picture crossing the Mississippi pointed towards downtown on every bike commute to work from the N 42nd Ave/Camden bridge . At this point I have over 400 photos of the view down the river (and no idea what I’m going to do with them). Welcome, Dustin! Here’s to another year of river pics.

The warmer weather has us all hopping back on our road bikes, which is the perfect segue into introducing our first new recruit of 2026! Name: Katie Pronouns: She/her Favorite Type of Riding: Road & gravel Team-Related Goal: Gravel racing is new for me! I am excited to give it a try this season! Fun Fact: I enjoy learning languages and am currently studying Russian. Be sure to give Katie a warm привет on our social rides!
