Hi Utepils Gang! 🚴 I’m still a few volunteers short for the FB4K Gran Fondo on Saturday, August 22, and I could really use some help from this crew! I specifically need a few PACERS who can reliably hold a 16, 18, or 20 mph average. Open spots: * 27 mi: 16 mph * Medio Fondo (~50 mi): 18 & 20 mph * Fondo (100 mi): 16 & 20 mph * Fondo Gravel (67% gravel / 33% road): 18 mph If you’re comfortable holding one of those paces and would be willing to lead a group, please let me know! Event: Bikepacking and Bonfire When: September 26 Location: Utepils → Rockford, MN → Utepils Limit: 50 people Come join us for the fourth annual-ish Utepils Bikepacking and Bonfire out at Graham's place! Folks who want to bikepack will leave from Utepils in the morning, ride out to the farm (with a little pit stop), hang for the night, then bike back to the brewery the next morning. Mountain bikers will meet at the Bertram Lakes Singletrack Trailhead to ride for a couple hours then go meet everyone back at the farm. In the evening we'll have Big Bore BBQ with vegetarian options, beer, a big ol fire, and fun times. There's plenty of room for tents, hammocks, and campers, and all are welcome to drop things off the day/night before if that's helpful. Cost is $40 per person, which gets you dinner and a place to poop. Please reply to this post if you’re going to attend and you'll be sent an invite with more details.
