Grease Rag Bikes Sewing Meetup! Sunday, December 14 from noon-2pm at Sumner Library, Large Meeting Room 3, 611 Van White Memorial Blvd, Minneapolis. *FTW ONLY: open to all femme, transgender, nonbinary, and women riders - anyone who doesn't benefit from cis male privilege. This is a casual meetup and skillshare! We have the skills to help you adjust the sizing of your pants, or start making a “feed bag/stem bag”. (Like the one from Learn MYOG). We have fleece fabric, scrap rain gear, and various other sewing supplies to share. If you missed the winter craft party or you really love the handmade items from the gear swap, we will have those patterns/supplies as well. Do you have a skill you’d like to learn? A skill you’d like to share? Would you like to borrow a sewing machine or other supplies to learn a new skill? What else could we do to make this event work for you? Let us know! Things to bring if you are able: Sewing supplies such as: sewing machine, serger, cutting mats, fabric scissors, rotary cutters, pins, needles, thread, extensions cords, yarn, knitting needles, crochet hooks, mending supplies, fabric, etc. Masks will be optional at this event. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns! @dogs.and.dykes.and.bikes is your contact for any questions!
