1.  Check in at Big Hill Books.  Pick up your checklist of participating businesses, check out the prizes donated by our local businesses and our new BMNA swag.  Check in is in the basement of Big Hill Books.  

2.  Visit each business on your checklist.  Introduce yourself to the owner/owners and have your checklist initialed.  Enjoy a snack or beverage provided by our generous business owners.  

3.  Drop your completed checklist in the BMNA box at Big Hill Books.  Don't forget your name and phone number!

4.  There will be a drawing at about 8:15 PM at Cuppa Java.  Stick around and see if you are a winner.

Join us September 17 from 5-7pm for the BMNA Member* Appreciation Night at Utepils. Connect with neighbors while enjoying the beer garden. Shop the latest BMNA looks: t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and stickers! We will be collecting back to school items for our two community schools: pencils, thin, black dry erase markers, Clorox wipes, tissues, highlighters and packing tape. 2026 donors to the BMNA will receive a free beverage token. Look for us around back in the beer garden. If you are unsure if you have donated in 2026, email coordinator@bmna.org or call 612.234.7819. You can also donate that night!

Your donation can help us plan for the rest of the year and for 2027 as we face reduced funding from the city.  Member donations make up nearly half of our income stream. Your donation funds things like The Bugle neighborhood newspaper, our website (BMNA.org), contract support staff who keep things organized and moving forward, neighborhood garden projects, and neighborhood events.

*A Member is defined in our by laws as anyone 16 years or older who resides within the neighborhood boundaries, owns property within the neighborhood boundaries, owns or manages a business within the neighborhood boundaries, or is an elected governmental official whose constituency consists of all or some of the persons residing within the neighborhood boundaries.

Join us for a kid-friendly bike ride to the Theodore Wirth Trailhead for music, food and fun. Enjoy snacks and drinks from the newly opened Aki's Bakehouse. Meet at the Garden of Hope & Healing in front of Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church. We'll roll out at 5:10pm. And there will be bubbles!

Join us on a ride-along tour through our neighborhood gardens, finishing with a picnic party! The Garden Committee and Active Transportation Committee are partnering to deliver a family-friendly group bike ride highlighting natural spaces in Bryn Mawr. We will meet at the Garden of Hope and Healing in front of the Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church at 1:45 pm on Saturday, July 18, weather permitting. We’ll be riding around the neighborhood with a formal stop at the Quaking Bog to walk the newly completed boardwalk.

We will end the ride around 4:00 pm at the JD Rivers community garden for a special guided tour with Minneapolis Parks and Recreation staff, followed by a neighborhood celebration featuring games and delicious treats! Feel free to skip the ride and meet here!
