The Minneapolis Mile of Music is just around the corner. This Wednesday, Aug. 19, more than 25 venues across Minneapolis will host free live music from 4-8 p.m., with performances stretching from Saint Anthony Main through downtown to Eat Street. Participating venues include Aster Cafe, Brit’s Pub, Eat Street Crossing, Icehouse, Pimento Kitchen, The Local and more.

The event will feature local artists performing jazz, folk, rock, Latin, electronic, pop, soul, hip-hop and more.
