One nice feature highlighted in the video was a cyclist signal that not only automatically detected a cyclist, it had an indicator to the cyclist informing them that they were detected.
\n\n
Does Minneapolis have any of these anywhere? I know of one cycling signal at the intersection of 18th Ave SE and Como Ave SE in the Como Neighborhood. But there is no indication to the cyclist the the signal has registered their presence. You just have to just hope and wait till the signal cycles. Even more annoying is that the signal only shows on the southbound side. The signal can be green and the northbound side doesn't know it.
\n\n
So has anyone seen any automatic cyclist signals that inform the cyclist that their presence is registered around town?
