Join the EZ Bike Club community for a meaningful 19-mile breast cancer awareness ride in support of our girl @becauseyougottohavefaith. One of our cub members and board member, Faith was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer on March 2nd. Invasive Ductal Carcinoma / Estrogen Positive / Progesterone Positive / HER2+\n\nShe had surgery on March 24th and as she prepares to begin an intense treatment plan in the coming weeks, including 12 weeks of chemotherapy, 3 1/2 weeks of radiation, and a year of immunotherapy, we’re rallying around her with a 19 mile fundraising ride on April 18th to help support her.\n\nFaith is insured. However, out-of-pocket costs for breast cancer treatment in the USA are substantial. \n\nFaith has been a bright light and an important part of our EZ Bike Club family since she joined. They also said $2 off drinks with a helmet for folks who partake.\n\nWe have a friend Dan, who has provided thousands of Peaceful Observer vests, for everyone to have if they’d like. He’s just asking for a donation of what ya can.\n\n-\nRules, take care of one another. \nWe will not be policing language during the open mic so if yer thinking children, keep that in mind\nWe have Marshalls, medics, and security\n\nWe are one, we are the streets, we ride together, we stand together. A kind and caring soul put on this earth to be the light for others. Although his light has been extinguished by this fascist regime, it hasn’t been lost. If anything, those sparks fell and ignited something in us that’s been hiding all along. We are stronger together, and they can’t take us all. These rides will be 10-15 miles round trip, starting and ending at Sabo Bridge. \n\nNo drop as always, we’ll ride a “stay warm” pace and keep everyone together. \n\nLast Tuesday of the month!
